Auth.net, 1-Click Upsells, OTO’s

Very exciting times ahead for DAP! Lots of cool features coming soon…

Coming Soon

1) Authorize.net integration
2) 1-Click Upsells
3) One-Time Offers (OTO)
4) Coupons…

And more!

Here’s what is coming in just a few days…

Authorize.net Integration

Which means, if you have an Authorize.net merchant account, then DAP itself becomes your shopping cart. No need for a 3rd party cart like 1SiteAutomation.com (1ShoppingCart Private Label).

It also means that the customer never leaves your web site to make a payment. No more sending people to a different web site – like Paypal – for instance. Customer stays within your web site’s pages. And makes a purchase right on your web site.

Once this plugin goes live soon, 1-Click Upsells and OTO’s will soon follow suit.

If you are willing to try out the Authnet Plugin beta version, you will get a substantial discount on the plugin. So please let us know via the comments below if you’re interested in signing up for the beta and getting the discount.

What You Need (To Use This Plugin)

1) Your own Authorize.net Merchant Account

2) A “SSL Certificate” on your web host. This is where your site looks like “https://Yoursite.com” with the extra “s” after the “http..”. That is what allows your members to “securely” enter their credit card information on your site and submit it for payment processing. We can help you set up SSL on your host for a fee. Just ask us.

Taking DAP To A Whole New Level

DAP already does way more than what our competitors do.

With the addition of these features (and even more that we’ll be adding: Product Chaining, Joomla Support, vBulletin integration, …) we’re taking DAP to a whole new level.

And we are really excited, humbled and honored that it is your support that has allowed us to get here.

And we promise you that in 2010, we’re going to take DAP “Where No Membership Script Has Gone Before!” :-)

And finally, a “HUGE Thank You” for your show of support and incredible feedback at the Warrior Forum . I’ve published your comments from the forum on our testimonials page.

Cheers and have an an AMAZING 2010!

Hello Ravi-
I can’t wait for the OTO and 1-Click (I assume both coming at the same time as they might work together well?).
Good job. How did you think you would integrate coupons? just curious…from a schedule point of view?
Cheers,

I’d love a beta invite! I’m six days away from launching my first membership site and am having to route members to PayPal and back. Not a worst case scenario, but I’d love to keep them on my site the entire time!

Patrick,

Will send you the details shortly once we’re ready. Thanks for considering the beta.

Cheers!

Lisa,

Yes, both 1-Click Upsells and OTO’s will be coming together in a couple of weeks. The direct Auth.net integration is coming out first shortly.

Coupons would be available hopefully in early Feb 2010.

Ravi-

Hope that you’re well. Can we do the same thing with Website Payments Pro/Payflow Gateway?

What is the price range for the plugin?

Auth.Net makes it hard for dudes like me because I actually need the income since I’m paying all of my vendors in real time, and Auth.Net seperates me from my money for 60+ days.

It IS the standard, though.

I’d love to get a shot at the AuthNet plugin beta, I have an authorize.net account as well as an SSL certificate, so it sounds like I’m ready to go!

Thanks Ravi, and keep up the great work in 2010!

Hi Ravi,
Just getting started, but I’d be interested in testing the Authorize.net plugin also. I’m going to be dealing with people who are likely to have credit cards but not a paypal account.

#9 Ravi Jayagopal on 01.05.10 at 10:16 pm

All,

Thank you for your interest in the plugin. We pulled it back a few days as we had to implement a few must-have features that we didn’t think of before.

We’re almost there. Pls stay tuned to this post.

And stay well.

Thanks!

@Chris,

Can’t confirm the pricing yet. But it won’t be much. It will be < = $97 for sure :-)

Hi: I’d love a chance to jettison 1SC, what’s the latest on this? I’d be happy to test the beta if you’re still in need. I’d integrate it tomorrow.

Tom,

This has already been released. Check out http://DigitalAccessPass.com/upselltree.php .

Cool, thank you.

Re: canceling my 1sc account, does this system enable me to sell non-digital products? My guess is no.

So I still need 1SC to be a shopping cart for my non-continuity products, true or false?

Thanks,
Tom

#16 Ravi Jayagopal on 02.15.10 at 11:39 am

Tom,

DAP very much allows you to sell non-digital, and 1-time (non-continuity) products too.

But just so we’re on the same page, what exactly did you need for selling non-digital products?

- Ravi Jayagopal

#17 Tom on 02.15.10 at 11:53 am

Well, I sell DVDs and CDs and programs that come in 3-ring binders (www.BaseballConfidence.com/Products.html). I create a product in 1SC, 1SC generates a link for the product, when people click on that link and go through the payment process, 1SC notifies my fulfillment house and they ship the product. Can DAP replace 1SC in this capacity?

#18 Ravi Jayagopal on 02.15.10 at 1:49 pm

The part that DAP doesnt’ do yet – is to automatically notify your fulfillment house. That should come within 2 months (Kunaki, Disk.com, etc).

#19 Joe on 04.13.10 at 12:17 pm

Ravi,
Is there a way in the current release or in future release, that when someone signs up for membership they get access to more than one product? I know you can set membership levels.. but do members have to subscribe to each level?

#20 Ravi Jayagopal on 05.03.10 at 11:50 am

Joe,

It’s coming in 3.8 (Product Chaining).

Any news on Kunaki and Joomla… I use kunaki for all my products… it would be fantastic for customers not to have to leave the members area to purchase DVDs

Joomla would be a superb addition
