DAP v3.7 Final Release

DAP v3.7 & LiveLinks 1.2 are both out of beta. They are now final release candidates. (What’s in 3.7 & 1.2?)

Download both from your member home page.

DAP v3.8 (& LL 1.3) will be here hopefully within the next couple of weeks.

And don’t forget to check out “Product Chaining” that will be part of that release.

Ooh, very exciting times ahead! :-)

So it seems there are no changes and we need not upgrade from beta to the final release of 3.7?

Thanks Ravi! So should those of use running the beta upgrade to the stable release?

I know there are several issues with v3.7 that are being addresses in v3.8 but didn’t know if an upgrade is recommended?

Also will there be any issues upgrading from 3.7beta to 3.8?

Thanks!

Ankur,

We did make a couple of minor UI and LL changes between the very first day of beta release and the final release.

If you downloaded 3.7 towards the end of the beta, then there would probably be no changes for you.

If nothing’s broken, then leave it as it is.

If you want to be absolutely sure, just re-upload all of the DAP and LiveLinks files. Can’t hurt.

Joe,

What are the issues you found in 3.7? Also, there are no known issues between 3.7 beta and 3.7 final.

Ravi,

I don’t see any v3.7 download links on my DAP member home page. Am I looking for links in all the wrong places?

I opened a ticket for the lost password function. It currently does not work for me – no password is sent, and the display for the email address does not show the “@” sign of the email address the password was sent to. I believe you mentioned it would be corrected in 3.8.

I was just curious if any of this was addressed.

thanks so much

Dan & Kenneth,

It appears that your access to Upgrades & Support has expired. You need to buy DAP Upgrades & Support.

Pls open a ticket about this and we’ll take care of this.
