DAP v5.5 is now FINAL

Protect Content directly in WP

Hi Dappers!

IMPORTANT UPDATE (04/27): There was an issue in LiveLinks v2.5.4 related to the "delete content protection" feature. This feature was not working as intended. It was deleting all protected content from the product instead of just un-protecting the selected content. So if you're still on v2.5.4, please do not use the big red trash icon right below the "click to protect content" button.

If you want to use the "unprotect content from all products feature", please upgrade to DAP LiveLinks v2.5.5 first.  This issue is fully resolved in livelinks v2.5.5.

DAP v5.5 and LiveLinks v2.5.5 is now officially FINAL. If you're already on this version, no action needed. If you're on an older version of DAP or LiveLinks, you can upgrade to this version.

This release includes:

1

Ability to Protect your Content directly in WP Dashboard

  • You can now protect WP posts/pages (and also custom post types), directly from WP page/post editor. You no longer have to login to DAP admin backend to protect your WordPress Content!

  • Even if a page/post is already protected in DAP (via DAP contentresponder),  you can still edit the drip setting directly in WP dashboard.

  • Ability to view (& protect) "all custom post types" in DAP Products Page >> ContentResponder tab. Prior to this release, only some of the custom post types were showing up in the DAP content responder tab. This issue is now resolved. If you use a LMS like say WP Courseware or Learndash, all the modules/lessons/units/topics etc should show up in the content responder tab for easy 1-click protection.

  • Post Login Redirect - we've also resolved an issue with the "DAP Login Shortcode" where the "you're already logged in, click here to proceed" hyperlink was not redirecting users correctly.

Paypal Update: IPN Error (Action Required)

It looks like Paypal has updated their APIs to encode the product name, and and it has affected Paypal IPN processing on some DAP sites. Some users had reported that they're receiving an IPN error (Product Name mismatch) after a successful paypal payment. This Paypal update seems to have only affected some of the paypal servers, not all.

The good news is... we already have a fix for this issue. If you're still receiving IPN errors, please upgrade to DAP v5..5 / LL v2.5.5 and this issue should get resolved.
