We have just added coupon support for recurring products too (Paypal only at this time).

All changes have been added to the current DAP v4.0 beta version.

A) If you have NOT YET installed 4.0 beta, then the changes are included already into the updated version currently available for download. Nothing special to do. Simply download DAP from the member's area.

And you may ignore everything below.

B) If you HAVE already installed 4.0 beta, then here's what you need to do:

1) Once again re-download and re-upload DAP (just the core "dap" folder – you can skip the LiveLinks plugin files as there are no changes to that.)

2) Once you have uploaded the new "dap" folder, log in to your DAP Admin Dashboard as usual first.

Then visit the following link in a new browser window;

http://YourSite.com/dap/update.php

Be sure to replace "YourSite.com" with your actual domain name. And that's it.

That will trigger the one little database change that we've added as part of the new coupon support for recurring products.

Please note that you cannot get DAP while on the free trial at 1SiteAutomation.com. You must sign up for a paid account to be eligible for this offer.

If you cancel your 1SA account before 6 months, then you may simply purchase a paid license of DAP if you wish to keep using DAP on your site. And you must pay for support & upgrades at the end of 1 year, just like everyone else (only if you want support & upgrades, of course).

We're finally launching our much awaited forum. And it is powered by vBulletin,  no less. The forum is currently open to only DAP users. The general public is not allowed to post in any of the forums, with the exception of the "Pre-Sales" forum.

NOTE: Please read through completely before clicking on any of the links below.

Before you can log in to the forums…

1. Log in to in to the DigitalAccessPass.com member's area
2. Scroll down to the User Profile section towards the bottom of that page.
3. Check if you already have a Username pre-created for you. If it is, then make a note of that. You may now directly log into the forums. You can ignore the rest of the steps below.
4. But if the Username field is empty in your profile, then first choose a Username that you wish to use in the forum. We recommend "FirstnameLastname" , "Firstname_LastName", or some variation thereof.
5. WARNING: Choose carefully, as you won't be able to change it later.
6. Save the change. That will automatically create your forum account.
7. MOST IMPORTANT: Then you must log out of the member's area, and log back in either via the member's area, or directly into the forums, and this will log you in to both DigitalAccessPass.com as well as the forum at the same time ("Single Sign-On").

Hurrah! DAP v3.9 (beta) is finally here. And so is LiveLinks v1.4 (beta). [How to upgrade?]

They will be in “Beta” for about 7-10 days. After which, they will be available as a Production (Final) release.

Here’s the final list of what’s in v3.9:

• [NEW] vBulletin integration
• [NEW] ClickBank INS support:  No more need for “Email Processing” for CB
• [NEW] HTML Email: Ability to send HTML copy in Double-optin emails, Thank-You Emails, Autoresponder Emails and Broadcast emails
• [NEW] Ability to input Offline Orders (manually create a transaction)
• [NEW] Referring Affiliate Id shows for every user on Users > Manage screen (if referred by an affiliate)
• [NEW] Manually give credit to any affiliate for a sale (for offline purchases, input the user and purchase amount first)

Guess what’s coming up on October 11, 2010?

Yup, we’re turning 2 in just a few days.

And as we look back and let our eyes well up, and let our chest fill up with pride about how far we have come in 2 years, we then look to the side to see our competition, and we realize that we still have miles to go before we are considered the undisputed, #1 Membership Plugin for WordPress. And anything other than 1st-place is worthless to us.

Do you know who was the 2nd person ever to run a sub-4-minute mile?

Do you know who was the 2nd person to set foot on the moon?

Yeah, we don’t either

It still hurts when someone says “Oh, plugin XYZ does feature ABC better than DAP”.

And in a way, we’re glad that it hurts, because that’s what keeps us wanting to do better!

* And we do this full-time, for a living!
