DAP v3.2 is coming soon (in just a few days).
Here’s a list of what’s in it so far…
* NEW: WP WIDGET: Login/Logout Widget: Shows the “Login” form on the sidebar when not logged in, and a “Logout” button when user is logged in.
* NEW: REPORT: On Admin home page: “Earnings Summary By Product” (default span: 1 week)
* NEW: Link to completely “Empty Logs” (dap_log) on the “Admin > Logs” screen.
* NEW: DB: Added 2 new fields to User table: Phone, Fax
* NEW: DB: New field for storing user-photos (upload-photo plugin sold separately)
* NEW: LOGGED_OUT_URL can now be customized via Config
* NEW: PROFILE_URL can now be customized via Config
* NEW: Extended User-Profile that includes many more fields
* NEW: Specify on-the-fly what URL user should be redirected to after they log out…
http://YourSite.com/dap/logout.php?redir=http://www.somesite.com
* NEW: More logging and admin notification introduced for Paypal IPN notification
* NEW: Ability to set up A “Recurring Email” – basically adding the same Email *Multiple Times To A Product*. Very useful if you wanted to send out, say, some kind of a canned “Account Info” email (with their email and password) to the user once a month. So you just setup one “Email” in DAP and then keep adding the same email to your Product with different “Start Day”s. And you now have a “Recurring-Email”!
Oh, and if you think 3.2 is awesome, you have no idea how super-freakin-awesome DAP v4.0 is going to be

March 15th, 2009 — Updates, Versions
We have new versions of both DAP and LiveLinks.
The biggest news is that we have now deprecated (a.k.a “gone baby, gone!”) the plugin DAP-WP-Plugin and have rolled the functionality into LiveLinks.
So, we are left with only one WP plugin: LiveLinks.
Obviously, this applies to you only if you already have DAP v2.0 or less installed.

DAP version 2.0 is here. Finally!
(What is in v2.0? | How to upgrade to v2.0? )
The biggest parts of this upgrade are the two new WordPress Plugins “WP LiveLinks” and “WP Plugin” (yeah, very creative, I know
)
And we have packed in SO much stuff in v2.0, that we’re increasing the price of DAP from $197 to $297.
So you can actually purchase these two plugins right away for $100, at the link below;
http://www.digitalaccesspass.com/buyplugins.php
However, we thought about it some more. And then some more. And we wondered whether the best way to show our appreciation for the early adopters of DAP, was to do something special for them.
Those same users who showed tremendous confidence in us, and tried out our software when there were no testimonials or proof on the sales page.
Then we realized, that there weren’t too may people like them who would try out software that didn’t have pages and pages of testimonials.
So, here’s what we have come up with.
Send us a video testimonial of why you love DAP, how you are using it, and what has been your experience using it. We’ll even let you pitch your web site address in the video.
Send us this video, and you can download these plugins worth $100 for free.
If you don’t have the time to do this, you can always purchase the plugins and not worry about spending time on creating a video-testimonial.
Also, if you are upgrading to DAP v2.0 from an earlier version, and don’t care about these insanely powerful plugins, then don’t worry – your installation will work even without the plugins.
But if you are doing a new installation, and DAP v2.0 is your first version, then you will need the plugin, which is why we have raised the price.
Anyway, we thought this was the least we could do for you as an existing user of DAP. And at the same time, we too get something from you that we’re missing the most – testimonials
.
Feel free to comment below about this.
You can email us the the video testimonial to Ravi *at* DigitalAccessPass.com .

Ok, this is HUGE!
I mean “Knock your socks off”, “Blow your mind”, “WTF??” huge
I know it doesn’t really matter what “WE” (the developers) think. But you’ll see why I am so excited!
We have just completed two new WordPress plugins for DAP.
1. DAP WP LiveLinks:
Once you install this plugin, when someone visits your blog, they will ONLY see posts that they are “eligible” to view. This applies to your blog’s main page as well.
So, if a casual visitor arrives at your blog, they only see titles and their summaries for posts that have NOT been protected (not added to DAP at all).
For instance, if you have 100 posts, and have protected 95 of them, then on your blog’s home page, this visitor will see only 5 blog posts – titles and summaries – in TOTAL.
They won’t even see the titles or bodies of the protected posts. And if they somehow get the link to it (from someone else, by email, say) and try to visit it, then the already existing DAP protection kicks in, and they’re asked to login first to determine if they have access to that post as of “now”.
But once this same visitor logs in, all blog posts that were HIDDEN earlier MAGICALLY re-appear
And they see all posts that they are CURRENTLY eligible to access (this excludes posts to which access already expired, and posts to which they don’t have access YET – i.e., future availability).
2. DAP WP Personalization Plugin:
This plugin lets you put the Dap Login Form on any blog “Page”. No longer have to send people to www.YourSite.com/dap/ to login.
Simply create a WordPress “Page” with the text %%LOGIN_FORM%% in the body, and when someone visits
the page, the login form automatically shows in it’s place.
This plugin also lets you PERSONALIZE blog post titles and body with MERGE variables. So, if you create a blog post with the title “Welcome %%FIRST_NAME%%“, then when your member logs in, they will see “Welcome John“.
And this is just the TIP of DAP Version 2.0 that’s coming in just a few days!
So stay tuned for v2.0 and other breaking news.
