DAP shopping cart SSL question

To use the DAP shopping cart with Paypal Website Payments Pro, you indicate:

You must have SSL (secure server) enabled on your web site. Ask your web host to enable SSL for your site.

My Hostgator plan has shared SSL enabled. Will that work or does it have to be dedicated SSL?

I think it will have to be dedicated SSL to prevent the certificate error from popping up.
