Update: I had failed to do a critical step in the update process...
***IMPORTANT***
A) It should show you a mostly-white-background page that asks you to click on a link to upgrade your installation to the newest version you just uploaded. If it does, then just click on the link to upgrade, and it should say “Successfully installed…”.
B) If the mostly-white-background page doesn’t show, and you are simply redirected to your DAP Admin Home Page, then you MUST MUST visit the following link:
http://yoursite.com/dap/admin/updates/update.php
Once I hit that link, I was able to provide the license key and login.
Hopefully this helps anyone who has a similar problem :)
