Deactivate Double Opt -In

With the change to DAP 4.0, the ability to turn the double-opt in in Config>Advanced has been removed. The help document does not address how to do this in 4.0 - just an earlier version.

How do we turn off double-opt in so that new users do not get the confirmation email or need to activate?

In 4.0 you do it by removing the contents of the "Double-Optin Email: Subject and Body" fields for the product.
In 4.2 the interface got updated; go to the "Email Notifications" tab of the product you're wanting to adjust. Remove the contents in the "Double-Optin Email: Subject and Body" fields.
