DAP syncing with WP but not SP
I'm currently trying to sync DAP with Simple Press (SP). I've confirmed that when I manually create a new user using the DAP admin function and log in to my site via DAP a new user is created in WP. Thus, DAP is syncing with WP. However, my issue is that after logging in via DAP the new user is not being logged in to Simple Press. If I manually login to simple press using the DAP login info it works. It's just not happening automatically. Any suggestions?
I actually realized that the DAP to WP sync is not working. When I login using the DAP login widget, I'm not being logged in to WP. Thus, the link between WP and SP is not working as well. After manually creating the user via the DAP admin panel, the user record is being created in WP. So, the initial link is working. However, when subsequently logging into DAP the WP sync is not working correctly. I'm using the following settings:
Sync DAP User Data to WordPress “Y”
Sync Paid Users Only “N”
Sync Only if Username Exists in DAP “N”

For anyone having similar issues, Veena and Ravi were able to figure out the problem.
My hosting service was somehow differentiating between http://mysite.com and http://www.mysite.com and the cookie set by DAP was not being recognized by WordPress because of that.
I made the following change in general settings (added "www" to Site URL and WordPress URL fields), which resolved the issue.

What webhost are you using?
I'm having a similar problem with DAP and Simple press. Everything works fine on my current setup, however, if a member changes their username in simple press the account sync stops working. They will then show up as a Guest in Simple Press even though they logged into a DAP login page.
I turned off the ability for users to change their username in the Simple Press options to try and stop more accounts being affected. I'm still dealing with 3 accounts that are out of sync.
I then tried to resync them myself by adding the Simple Press username in DAP. This didn't work either.
Any suggestions?

I found the solution to my sync problem from DAP to Simple Press. I turned off the ability for users to change their username in Simple Press to prevent more accounts getting out of sync.
I then went to DAP and pulled up the user record. I changed the First name last name combination to create the desired username.
For example, if the user wants his username to be Joe Blow, then you can either enter JoeBlow in the first name or Joe as first name and Blow as Last name.
Here’s the trick to this though, the UserName in DAP, just below the first and last name MUST = whatever the original FirstLastName combination was.
So if the user was originally set up as follows:
First Name – Chris
Last Name – Smith
Username – “empty field”
And he wanted his login name within simple press to be JoeBlow, then you have to change him in DAP like this:
First name: Joe
Last name: Blow
Username: ChrisSmith
or
First name: JoeBlow
Last name: “empty field”
Username: ChrisSmith
This is the only way I have been able to get the account resynchronized. If not done like this then when the user logs into a DAP login form and then goes to Simple Press he will show up as Guest.
Again, this is only if the username got changed in Simple Press. As long as the username is never changed in the first place you won’t have this problem. My experience so far has been that some people don’t want their complete name visible in the forum.

Shay,
I'm glad you found a solution. Also, did you turn off the simple press functionality via the forum dashboard or did you remove the WP admin bar that shows up at the top of the page?

It's done within forum admin from your WP dashboard. Deselect "Let member choose display name".
