Coupons - Free signup for product using coupons
You can offer products for free using coupons but you can only do that for products that do not have payment associated with it. You can do this (coupons for free products) if you have a free product but at the same time you dont want everyone to freely signup to it. You only want users with valid coupon code to register to that product.
You can generate coupon code enabled signup form for a free product and publish it on a WP page and only users with valid coupon code can signup to that product.
You can generate the free signup form that is coupon enabled on DAP products page.

Re: Coupons - Free signup for product using coupons
Hi Veena!
I've got a follow-up question for this:
In our old system we used coupons where we could let a user get access for X months for free. After that the subscription expired and had to be renewed. It was also possible to pay monthly through PayPal if you didn't have a coupon code.
Is this possible?
The problem we're actually solving is this:
When a company buys our educational courses they pay a one time fee for X amount of months access.
As they do it in bulk, we send them coupon codes that their employees can use. the X months of access starts when they register and activate the code.
Actually, by typing this I now realize half of the solution:
I'll create a product with the right drip sequence and everything then make a copy, where one is free with required coupon code needed to register, and the other product is payable monthly through paypal. That way we can also separate the corporate customers from the John Doe's.
The only question then I guess is: is it possible to add coupons that gives users an active account for X amount of months from date of use?
The way I understand it now is that the coupon code is valid between start/end date given when creating it, and its access means free for life?
Thank you so much, I'm already starting to like DAP!
