DAP was launched back on October 10, 2008. And here we are, 5 years later, still having the same fire in our bellies and hunger in our hearts, to make DAP the best membership plugin on the planet.<\/p>\n

We know we’re not there yet, and we’re certainly not done yet, but that really has been our single biggest obsession so far – to take DAP “where no membership plugin has gone before” \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

When can I download the new DAP Shopping Cart (BETA)?<\/h3>\n

We are releasing the BETA version today and doing a closed beta with a select group of DAP users who have volunteered. We will notify you via our blog and by email when it’s available for everyone.<\/p>\n

What are the requirements for the new DAP Shopping Cart?<\/h3>\n

1. You need at least one of the following:<\/p>\n

a) a Paypal Standard Account<\/strong>, or
\nb) an Authorize.net merchant account<\/strong> or
\nc) a Stripe.com account<\/strong> or
\nd) a Paypal Payments PRO account<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. If you wish to sell subscription-based products, then you also need Automated Recurring Billing (ARB)<\/strong> enabled in your Authorize.net account.<\/p>\n

3. If you’re using Authorize.net<\/strong> or Paypal Website Payments Pro<\/strong> or Stripe.com<\/strong>, then you need to have SSL (secure server)<\/strong> enabled on your web site. Please ask your web host to enable SSL\/HTTPs <\/strong>for your site. SSL is NOT needed if you allow users to ONLY \u2018Checkout with Paypal Standard\u2019 option<\/strong>. It\u2019s ONLY needed if you wish to allow users to enter CC info on the checkout page right on your site.<\/p>\n

4. IMPORTANT: You need to be on DAP 4.4.3 & LiveLinks 1.8.3.2

What happens to my existing DAP Shopping Cart?<\/h3>\n

The NEW Shopping Cart will NOT affect the existing version of DAP cart on your site<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But given the number of files we have updated for the new CART, it’s better you DO NOT apply the BETA version to a LIVE web site. We recommend using it only on sites that are NOT live yet, or on test sites.<\/p>\n
