Easy, Efficient And Reliable<\/h3>\n<p>=&gt;\u00a0 The new API integration is super simple to setup and far more efficient and reliable than the current email-based integration. You no longer have to worry about subscribers not getting added to AWeber because of email delivery issues or because of communication issues between AWeber and your Web Host.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Send Membership Password To AWeber<\/h3>\n<p>The new integration will also allow you to send<strong> user&#8217;s membership password<\/strong> to AWeber. You can use AWeber to send out &#8216;Welcome&#8217; emails instead of sending it from DAP. This is especially useful if you are on shared web-hosting and use your web host to deliver welcome emails but you constantly end up with email delivery issues.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Single Opt-In List<\/h3>\n<p>AWeber has an automatic double opt-in configured that will send an opt-in email to any contacts you add to the AWeber list. The good news is &#8211; if you use the new API integration, AWeber will allow you to setup the new lists as single opt-in. If you want the list to be single opt-in and not require confirmation, just contact Aweber support and request that they disable the forced opt-in for your new lists.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to make your AWeber and DAP integration more efficient and reliable, please watch this video :<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Integration Steps<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>STEP 1:\u00a0 <\/strong>Authorize DAP to connect to AWeber<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Visit <strong>DAP Admin<\/strong> =&gt; <strong>Email<\/strong> =&gt; <strong>AWeber Integration<\/strong> page.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalaccesspass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/aweberintegration2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-2405\" src=\"http:\/\/www.digitalaccesspass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/aweberintegration2.png\" alt=\"aweberintegration\" width=\"289\" height=\"83\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n2. Click on the link to &#8220;Authorize DAP to Connect to Your AWeber Account&#8221;. A new browser window will pop up. It will contain an AWeber authorization form.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalaccesspass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/aweberauth.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-2406\" src=\"http:\/\/www.digitalaccesspass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/aweberauth.png\" alt=\"aweberauth\" width=\"289\" height=\"191\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Enter your AWeber credentials and click on &#8220;Allow Access&#8221; to complete the authorization.\u00a0 AWeber will generate an authorization key.<\/p>\n<p>4. Copy the authorization key.<\/p>\n<p>5. Enter the authorization key in the text box on the AWeber integration page (DAP Admin =&gt; Email =&gt; AWeber Integration):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalaccesspass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/aweberintegrationauth.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-2407\" src=\"http:\/\/www.digitalaccesspass.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/aweberintegrationauth.png\" alt=\"aweberintegrationauth\" width=\"287\" height=\"86\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0 Click on &#8220;<strong>Generate AWeber Keys<\/strong>&#8221; to generate and save the keys in the DAP database.<\/p>\n<p>This will allow DAP to communicate with AWeber via APIs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 2:\u00a0 Add Users to your AWeber List<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0 Only use this integration if you want to add users from DAP to AWeber. If the users are being added to DAP first (paid or free product) and you want the users to be automatically subscribed to an AWeber list, use this integration. Do NOT use this integration if you use AWeber webform to signup users.\u00a0 If the integration is from AWeber=&gt;DAP, use <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/digitalaccesspass.com\/doc\/aweber-to-dap\/\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a><\/strong> documentation.<\/p>\n<p>1. Visit DAP Products\/Levels =&gt; Manage page.<br \/>\n2. Select the DAP product that you want to integrate with AWeber.<br \/>\n3. Click on Notifications tab.<\/p>\n<p>4. In the &#8220;<strong>Plugin Notification Upon User Add<\/strong>&#8221; textbox, enter integration string in this format:<\/p>\n<p><strong>aweber:&lt;aweberListId&gt;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Replace <strong>&lt;aweberListId&gt;<\/strong> with the list Id of your AWeber list.<\/p>\n<p>When the user is added to this product in DAP, they will be automatically subscribed to the configured list in AWeber.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 3 :\u00a0 Send User&#8217;s Password to AWeber<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you want to send user&#8217;s dap membership password to AWeber, enter this string in the &#8220;<strong>Plugin Notification Upon User Add<\/strong>&#8221; textbox.<\/p>\n<p><strong>aweber:&lt;aweberListId&gt;:sendpassword<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please NOTE:<\/strong> Replace <strong>&lt;aweberListId&gt;<\/strong> with the list Id of your AWeber list.<\/p>\n<p>This will allow DAP to send the password to AWeber and also subscribe user to the AWeber list.<\/p>\n<p>You can use AWeber (instead of DAP) to send out welcome email with membership login credentials to your users. If you don&#8217;t find a &#8220;Password&#8221; field in AWeber, please define a new custom field called &#8220;Password&#8221; in AWeber. The DAP password will be stored in that field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEP 4: Move Users to a Different List in AWeber<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you want to move users from one AWeber list to another automatically upon cancellation in DAP or when the user loses access to the product in DAP, enter this in the &#8220;<strong>Plugin Notification Upon User Remove<\/strong>&#8221; textbox:<\/p>\n<p><strong>aweber:move:&lt;aweberListIdFrom&gt;:&lt;aweberListIdTo&gt;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0 Replace <strong>&lt;aweberListIdFrom&gt;<\/strong> with the list Id of the current AWeber list. Replace <strong>&lt;aweberListIdTo&gt;<\/strong> with the list Id of the new AWeber list to which the users will be moved.<\/p>\n<p>Say the current list is &#8220;<strong>myoldlist<\/strong>&#8221; and the new list is\u00a0 &#8220;<strong>mynewlist<\/strong>&#8220;, then enter this:<\/p>\n<p><strong>aweber:move:myoldlist:mynewlist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you remove a user&#8217;s access to this product in DAP, the user will automatically be moved to the new list in AWeber.<\/p>\n<h2>Installation\/Upgrade<\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">UPDATE on 04\/15\/15<\/span>: We&#8217;ve just released DAP v4.8.1 (no change to LiveLinks v1.12)<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>1. Existing DAP (Upgrade)<\/h4>\n<p>To use this feature, you will have to upgrade to the new <em><strong>BETA<\/strong> <\/em>release (<strong>DAP v4.8\u00a0 \/ LiveLinks v1.12<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Download <strong>DAP v4.8<\/strong> and <strong>DAP-WP-LiveLinks v1.12<\/strong> zip files from your <a href=\"http:\/\/digitalaccesspass.com\/dappers\/my-account\/downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\">members&#8217; area<\/a> on our site.<\/p>\n<p>a) You can use the <strong><a title=\"DAP Easy Installer\" href=\"http:\/\/digitalaccesspass.com\/doc\/dap-easy-installer\/\" target=\"_blank\">DAP Easy Installer<\/a><\/strong> plugin to upgrade <strong>DAP<\/strong> to <strong>v4.8<\/strong> and <strong>LiveLinks<\/strong> to <strong>v1.12.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>-OR-<\/p>\n<p>b) You can use FTP to upload the files. To upgrade it via FTP:<\/p>\n<p>=&gt; Download <strong>LiveLinks v1.12 zip file<\/strong> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/digitalaccesspass.com\/dappers\/my-account\/downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\">members&#8217; area<\/a> on our site, unzip it and upload it to the WP plugins folder on your site (<strong>\/wp-content\/plugins<\/strong>) overwriting the existing DAP-WP-LiveLinks folder.<\/p>\n<p>=&gt; Download <strong>DAP v4.8 zip file<\/strong> from the <a href=\"http:\/\/digitalaccesspass.com\/dappers\/my-account\/downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\">members&#8217; area<\/a> on our site, unzip it and upload it to the root folder on your site overwriting the existing contents of &#8220;dap&#8221; folder.<\/p>\n<p>After uploading the files, log in to the DAP admin dashboard to complete the upgrade.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>2. New DAP Installation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Install the new <em><strong>BETA<\/strong> <\/em>release (DAP v4.8\u00a0 \/ LiveLinks v1.12) to use the new AWeber integration.
