What is SCA?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)<\/strong> is a new European regulatory requirement\u200b<\/em> to reduce fraud and make online payments more secure.<\/p>\n

SCA will be mandatory under the Payment Service Directive 2 (PSD2) as of September 2019. <\/em><\/p>\n

Under the European Union law, strong customer authentication will apply to most customer-initiated online transactions<\/em> <\/strong>within Europe. This includes most credit and debit card payments and credit transfers.<\/p>\n

What you need to do to prepare for SCA?<\/strong><\/h3>\n
