Today I'm super thrilled to announce the beta release of DAP v6.0 and LiveLinks v3.0!
- DAP Products Page Revamped!
The release includes a completely revamped DAP Admin >> Products page interface!
The new Products Page is user-friendly, modern, elegant & intuitive. Going forward, you'll enjoy the process or creating new products and managing existing products in DAP :).
Be sure to watch the video above to see what the issues were in the older versions and how we've addressed each one of those issues in the new version. I've tried to cover everything in detail in this video. You'll also find a whole bunch of new features in the products page.
From better documentation to responsive, clean and modern interfaces, we're very proud of this release!

DAP v5.6.3 and Livelinks v2.6.5 is now FINAL!
If you've a busy/live site, we recommend that you wait until v6.x release is final. Do not upgrade yet.
- Login Timeout Issues
We often receive tickets from DAP users wanting to know how to prevent member login session from timing out after 20-30 minutes of inactivity. While the timeout issues are NOT caused by DAP (it's controlled by your webhost's php session settings), we've created a few options for you in this release that will allow you to prevent frequent timeouts.
You can configure a "cookie timeout limit" in dap so you can have your users logged-in as long as you want!
There are two ways DAP manages logins:
Session-based (default):
Uses are going to be logged-in as long as the session is active. Now, sessions are at server level and the 'timeout' setting for session is controlled by the php setting on your server. DAP cannot control it. Generally php sessions time out after 20-30 minutes of inactivity.
So if you want the 'session idle timeout' changed, you'll have to contact your webhost and see if they can do that for you.
Cookie-based:
If your users check the "remember me" box when they login, DAP will use "Cookies" instead of "Session" and it should prevent frequent logout issues as the cookie duration is set to 14 days by default.
But most users don't check the 'remeber me' box during login and also, currently there's no way to configure / change the cookie duration or force a cookie-based login managament.
In DAP v6.0, we've added a couple of options that will allow you to set a 'cookie timeout' duration (in days) and also allow you to force a cookie based login.
All you to do is ftp to your site, edit /dap/dap-config.php file and add this to dap-config.php file:

SmartPayCart Update
We recently released a one-of-a-kind "multiple order bumps" feature! It's designed to help you increase your sales with minimum effort!
Your users can add one or more of your order bumps with the tick of a checkbox and purchase all your products at once. It was amazing to see SPC'ers to quickly put together new products to offer as order bumps, add the products to their checkout with the click of a few buttons and instantly boost their profits... just a day after we released this feature :).
Order bumps are the easiest way to increase your sales! And there's no shopping cart platform that offers you more customization options to create your order bumps than SPC! All you've to do is come up with some product ideas that will complement your main offer and work well as an order bump (for e.g. ebook, checklist, action plan, execution plan, short video course, pdf download, trial offer to your membership etc), offer them on your checkout page, and increase your profits with very little effort!

The next DAP update will include a new automation engine (including a one-of-a-kind visual automation builder) that will allow you to easily connect DAP with Zapier as well as other external autoresponder platforms with a few button clicks. No need to manually enter plugin notification string or find your list id etc. You can also send comma-separated list of tags to your email platform. You can even send membership password to your email platform.
We are also working on a new "Product Chaining" page that will allow you to turn on/off welcome emails, set a future "start" date for your chained products etc. This will also be part of the next DAP update!

How to Upgrade / Install DAP
You can use our Easy Installer plugin to upgrade DAP.
If the easy installer plugin does not work (due to file permission or other server issues), you can use FTP or File Manager to upload files. Click here for details.
