DAP Upgrades Made EASY!
We're doubling down on our efforts to make DAP easy-to-use and setup.
Today, I'm very excited to let you know that you can now upgrade DAP to the latest live/beta version with the click of a button from within your DAP Admin Dashboard! You'll not have to upload files via FTP/ File Manager etc. You will not even need the easy installer plugin to upgrade DAP & LiveLinks anymore.
We've just released DAP v7.9.8 / LL v4.9.8 and it supports this new auto-upgrade feature! It's a beta release so if it's a live/busy site, please do not install this upgrade until this release becomes final (likely next week).
It's ALL automated and you can do it from your DAP admin dashboard.
Here's how it works:

When you login to DAP admin dashboard, you'll find an upgrade message and an upgrade button towards the top. This feature is designed to detect if you're on an older version of DAP and it'll automatically show an upgrade button so you can upgrade to latest.
This message will only show up if you are not on the latest version of DAP.
Click on the upgrade button. It'll bring you to the upgrade page.
When you click on the upgrade button, it'll bring you to the auto-upgrade page where you can select the location of your WP install, choose live or beta version, and it'll upgrade you to that version!
You can also get to this page by clicking on "Updates" under the "Reports" menu.
You need to first upgrade to this latest version of DAP (v7.9.8 / LL v4.9.8) for the auto-upgrade feature to be installed on your site. After you upgrade to this version, going forward, you can use the auto-upgrade feature to upgrade dap and livelinks.

BETA Release:
Please note that this is a BETA release of DAP v7.9.8 and LiveLinks v4.9.8. If your site is live/busy, do not upgrade yet.

Access Expired?
If you don’t find DAP v7.9.8 and DAP LiveLinks v4.9.8 zip files in your member’s area, it’s probably because your access to DAP Support & Upgrades has expired. Click here to find out how you can renew your support/upgrade access for another year.
