DAP v4.2.1 and Premium Web Cart Integration

DAP 4.2.1 (Final) Is Here!

It has been live since 09/15/2011 actually – we preferred doing a silent launch to make sure no other issues are reported, before we officially announced it.

So DAP 4.2.1 is stable and production- ("live-site") worthy.

Go ahead and download both DAP v4.2.1 and LiveLinks v1.7 from the member's area and upload to your site.

NEW: Premium Web Cart Integration!

We're thrilled to announce that we just completed integration with Premium Web Cart (PWC), a hosted shopping cart service.

Click here for documentation on how to integrate DAP with PWC.

NOTES:

There are other awesome things coming up, but we can't talk about it just yet! 😉

So expect to hear from us within the next couple of weeks with some cool news.

Cheers!

PPS: And if you're new to DAP, then our "Get DAP For Free" offer is going extremely strong.

  1. Could you clearify on the Preminium Web Cart. We get free monthly access to them? Which plan level?

    THanks!

  2. I used 1sc for years but dumped it for premium web cart. Free phone and email support and I haven’t found a 1sc feature that pwc does not have. But pwc has so much more including fulfillment and even print on demand! Check it out for sure.

  3. This is great news!

Is there any documentation on how to perform the integration?

    Thanks
    Andrew

  4. @Arlen, That’s correct. Their phone and email support is no-extra-charge for all levels. I couldn’t believe it either, but a year into it and it’s still true. That was the main reason I left 1sc.

  5. Hi,

I would also like to get the answer to the question above from Arlem:

“Could you clearify on the Preminium Web Cart. We get free monthly access to them? Which plan level?”

    thanks

  6. >>Veena, You should include your affiliate link to Premium Web Cart! Your DAP integration efforts will lead to more sales of PWC. << Hi Richard, Yes, we have done that. Thanks so much for the suggestion!

  7. Dan,

    >>“Could you clearify on the Preminium Web Cart. We get free monthly access to them? Which plan level?” << We do not have any free monthly access offer for PWC.

  8. Just curious if you could clarify the changes in 4.2.1 versus 4.2? If we are not using PWC, is there any other added benefit in doing the upgrade at this point?

  9. Veena and Ravi,
As usual, thank you for adding a wonderful new feature with PWC integration! This will solve some major problems we are facing – very timely.

About how PWC works with DAP, I’d like to switch to PWC affiliate tracking. I’m currently using DAP merge codes to provide affiliate access/info – how should that change?

Is there a connection between DAP product definitions and the PWC shopping cart? What happens to my DAP generated buy buttons?

So some information about feature overlap between DAP and PWC would be helpful…

  10. DAP 4.Next Suggestion:

It would be great if we could easily order/reorder the links that appear for a product on the member links page. (Similar to how WP menus utility works).

I haven’t fopund an easy way to do this in DAP.
    Perhaps I’m missing something.

    Thanks!

  11. >>It would be great if we could easily order/reorder the links that appear for a product on the member links page. (Similar to how WP menus utility works). << We have added support for this in the upcoming version of dap :-).

  12. DAP Feature Request: Would love to see three new fields added to the product level and a tweak to the autoresponder. The fields are Product Email address and Product Email Name and Product Email Footer message. This could be used for the autoresponder that needs to come from a different address than the admin email setup in the config.

    For example:
    Product: SuperDuper Widget Training
    Email: superduperwidgettraining@mycompany.com

    Behaviour:
When the product level email information exists use it for the autoresponder messages else use the general email from the config setup.

    Benefits
This adds great flexibility to the autoresponder system in DAP. It also helps when we use multiple dap products in sub directories with a central DAP install.

    mycompany/dap/
    mycompany.com/product1/
    mycompany.com/product2/

    Hope this can be done.
